Buying a ring online is a wonderful experience, but the question is always the same: "Will it fit?". Whether it's a ring with your children's names or a spinner ring with your heartbeat pulse, the right fit is everything for your comfort.

Don't worry! You don't need to be an expert. There are two very easy ways to find your size at home, using only a ruler or a measuring tape.

METHOD 1: MEASURE A RING YOU ALREADY OWN

This is the most accurate way if you already have a ring that fits you perfectly on the specific finger.

1. Choose a ring that fits you comfortably.
2. Place it on a ruler.
3. Measure the distance from one inner side to the other.
4. Attention: We measure only the clear gap, not the thickness of the metal!

METHOD 2: MEASURE YOUR FINGER CIRCUMFERENCE

If you don't have a ring available, you can measure your finger directly using a ribbon or a measuring tape.

1. Wrap a ribbon or a strip of paper around the base of the finger you are interested in.
2. Mark the point where the circle closes with a pen.
3. Open the ribbon on the ruler and measure the length in millimeters (mm).
4. This measurement is the circumference of your finger.

3 SECRETS FOR ACCURATE MEASUREMENT

• Temperature matters: Fingers tend to be thinner in the cold and more swollen in the heat or in the afternoon. Measure your hands when they are at a normal temperature.
• The knuckle: The ring should be tight enough not to fall off, but loose enough to slide over your finger's knuckle without much effort.
• Ring thickness: If you choose a very wide ring (like spinner rings), you might need a half or one size larger to feel comfortable.
